Selection Criteria
Applications are evaluated based on the following:

The proper completion of the application form by its deadline;

The applicant demonstrates how becoming a BMO Responsible AI Senior Scholar will enhance their own research, and how they can responsibly influence the impact of AI on Society.

The applicant demonstrates the interdisciplinary nature of their research. The applicant has a minimum of two supervisors from different Faculties or Departments, and demonstrates how they will guide them throughout their research;

The applicant demonstrates academic excellence through past academic results, transcripts, awards and distinctions.
Review Process
Applications will be reviewed by members of the McCAIS Review Committee, consisting of faculty members from º«¹úÂãÎè with expertise in AI and other domains related (but not limited) to arts, decision making, health, law and policy. Selected candidates will be contacted by email before the summer semester by a member of the McCAIS administrative team, where a meeting will be scheduled to process documents and answer administrative questions.
