The BMO Responsible AI Scholars Program intends to help prepare future-ready Responsible artificial intelligence (Al) researchers. Established in 2021 with a gift from the BMO Financial Group, the Program offers awards to undergraduate and graduate students involved in research in the field of Responsible AI. Awarded by the º«¹úÂãÎè Collaborative for AI & Society (McCAIS), on behalf of the Faculty of Science, these awards are intended to foster interdisciplinary research in the realm of AI and Society, as well as to encourage research aimed at understanding and responsibly influencing the impact of AI on Society, necessarily drawing on not only technological aspects but also those related (but not limited) to arts, decision making, health, law and policy.Â
