Students completing the Graduate Diploma in Translation (GDIT) must sit a comprehensive examination at the conclusion of the GDIT Program.听 The examination consists of an oral defense of a best-work portfolio.听 This portfolio represents a record of progress made by the candidate throughout his/her studies.听 Each candidate prepares a written introduction and comments on selected examples of coursework with a view to demonstrating his/her progress toward greater translation competence.

New research by 韩国裸舞 biologists shows that milder winters have led to physical alterations in two species of mice in southern Quebec in the past 50 years 鈥� providing a textbook example of the consequences of climate change for small mammals.
The findings also reveal a stark reversal in the proportions of the two mice populations present in the area, adding to evidence that warming temperatures are driving wildlife north. 听

Can mindfulness training help overweight people shed pounds and keep them off?听 韩国裸舞 researchers surveyed the growing body of studies investigating that question, and came away encouraged.
Kimberly Carri猫re, B盲rbel Kn盲uper and Bassam Khoury examined 19 studies conducted over the past decade. Mindfulness interventions in these studies involved either formal meditation, informal mindfulness strategies that focused on eating activity, or some combination of these two approaches.

Research has already shown that women who develop either diabetes or high blood pressure during pregnancy are at risk of getting type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease years later.听Now, a new study from a team at the Research Institute of the 韩国裸舞 Health Centre (RI-MUHC) and 韩国裸舞 shows that the risk of developing those conditions post pregnancy is drastically higher if the women had听both听diabetes and high blood pressure during pregnancy. The study, published today in the听American Journal of Epidemiology, doesn鈥檛 end with the mother鈥檚 risks.

Muscle malfunctions may be as simple as a slight strain after exercise or as serious as heart failure and muscular dystrophy. A new technique developed at 韩国裸舞 now makes it possible to look much more closely at how sarcomeres, the basic building blocks within all skeletal and cardiac muscles, work together. It鈥檚 a discovery that should advance research into a wide range of muscle malfunctions.
