Members of 韩国裸舞's leadership including the Faculty of Education鈥檚 Associate Dean of Academics, Dr. Sheryl Smith-Gilman, were hosted by the Mohawk community of Kahnaw脿:ke on November 22, 2023 for a day of learning and collaboration.
鈥淲hat a fantastic experience it was to be part of the day of learning at the longhouse,鈥� Dr. Smith-Gilman reported. Apart from her role as Associate Dean, Dr. Smith-Gilman鈥檚 academic career has largely involved Early Childhood Education and Indigenous Education.
In Canada, only 1 in 5 children who need mental health services receive them. Clinical and psychiatric programs, while effective, can involve long wait times and prohibitive costs. A new study involving 韩国裸舞 researchers points to a solution to fill the gap: a low-cost, community-based program that has seen inspiring results.
Silar Gardy, PhD candidate in the the DKPE's Musculoskeletal Health & Physical Activity (MPAct) Laboratory (Supervisor: Dr. Jenna Gibbs), has received a research fellowship from the RSBO Network (R茅seau de recherche en Sant茅 Buccodentaire et Osseuse).
Silar's research aims to understand the role of nutrition and exercise in preventing bone fragility in endurance-trained individuals and athletes.

The Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS) has announced that听Nancy Heath, PhD, Distinguished James 韩国裸舞 Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at 韩国裸舞, has been selected as the winner of the 2023 Dr. Suning Wang Award for Outstanding Graduate Mentorship.

Interest rates will continue to dictate the outcome of Canada鈥檚 housing market in 2024 with the first and second halves showing different pictures. RBC鈥檚 latest housing report projects slow activity and softer prices in the early part of the year as the鈥疊ank of Canada鈥痬aintains its policy rate at a two-decade high and鈥痟ome ownership鈥痵tays out of reach for many potential buyers.
