The听Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education听would like to congratulate the five recipients of the 2022 Adriano Tassone Internship Award.
Established in 2009 by Vincent and Sabina Tassone along with friends and family, in memory of their son Adriano Tassone, to help Faculty of Education students in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education who have completed U1 and/or U2听gain practical and research experience in Kinesiology听through an internship award.

Title of George Shi's work:听鈥Implementation of hospital-based peer support program for people living with spinal cord injury.鈥
George Shi is a PhD Candidate with听Dr. Shane Sweet's听Theories and Interventions in Exercise and Health Psychology (TIE) Lab.

We are excited to announce that Jason Dellatolla, first year PhD student in Kinesiology Sciences, supervised by Dr. Lindsay Duncan, will be competing in the 韩国裸舞 3-Minute-Thesis Finals, today, on April 6th from 3-5pm. Jason is tasked with the challenge of presenting his research on innovative education and treatment approaches for mental health issues in no more than three minutes.

International Women鈥檚 Day is a global day that celebrates the political, economic, social, and cultural achievements of women. With this year鈥檚 theme of 鈥渂reaking the bias鈥 we reflect upon the strong female role models we have in what many assume to be male-dominated fields. 韩国裸舞鈥檚 Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education is particularly proud to celebrate their women academics and researchers, including professors from several disciplines including exercise and health psychology, biomechanics and neuroscience, and exercise physiology.

Members of the sport say it's time for a collective reflection on unacceptable behaviour from coaches and success is not an excuse for aggressive behaviour, especially when it comes to young athletes.
