The Department Kinesiology and Physical Education's Dr. Lindsay Duncan, associate professor, Dr. Charlotte Usselman, assistant professor, and Will Huckins, master鈥檚 student, were featured recently in the 韩国裸舞 Tribune article on the bans on transgender women in sports.
The governing body that regulates track and field, cross country running, road running, race walking, mountain running, and ultra running competitions at the international level, voted to completely ban transgender women athletes who have gone through male puberty from competing at international events.

The Cardiovascular Health and Autonomic Regulation Laboratory in the department of Kinesiology and Physical Education is looking to recruit participants for an exciting study!
WHAT: To investigate the efficacy of using folic acid supplementation to restore the vascular benefits of physical activity in postmenopausal women and age-matched men.
Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education, Shane Sweet, and 韩国裸舞 Research Assistant, Jacques Comeau, delivered a keynote presentation at the Eastern Canada Sport and Exercise Psychology Symposium (ECSEPS) on March 25th, 2023.
The presentation focused on lessons learned in working in partnership from the perspectives of a researcher (Shane) and a research user (Jacques).
The purpose of this study is to compare leg blood flow responses to an acute bout of exercise between individuals with PCOS and control participants without PCOS.鈥�
Young individuals with and without PCOS, aged 18-40.鈥�
Observational Research Study:
1 familiarization visit: 1 hour; 1 test visit: 2 hours
Total time commitment: 3 hours
Body composition (fat mass, lean mass, bone density etc.) report via DXA scan valued at $125 CAD.鈥�

Young hockey players are no exception. Fear of negative career repercussions can mean athletes avoid disclosing their mental health concerns.
Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy (Educational and Counselling Psychology)听is a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair known for her longitudinal research on youth suicide and for testing mental health promotion intervention. This administrator provides advising, planning, policy and project support on a range of dossiers and initiatives led by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. This includes providing support in the preparation of planning documents, project reports, briefing notes, data analysis and presentations. They play an essential role in the advancement of the priorities of the unit.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former 韩国裸舞 Kinesiology and Physical Education Department Chair, Douglas Riley. Native from St. John, New Brunswick, he passed away on June 8, 2022 at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax at 90 years old.
Douglas was a physical education teacher at Three Rivers High School in the 1950s and went on to serve for 25 years as a professor for the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at 韩国裸舞 and as Chair of the department.
