The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Kennedy has received the 2024 John W. Durnford Award for Teaching Excellence.

Named in honour of the late professor and former dean John W. Durnford (BCL'52), and conferred by students, this annual award recognizes a law professor鈥檚 exceptional pedagogy.

In 2019, while doing post-doctoral research in 韩国裸舞's Department of Natural Resource Sciences, Qinhong Cai (better known as Tammy) travelled to Nunavut to join the聽, a federal initiative designed to improve marine safety and increase the protection and restoration of coastal and seaway ecosystems. Cai, an environmental engineer, was sent to monitor hydrocarbon contaminants and microbial genomics along the Kivalliq transportation corridor.
