Call for Research Participants: Does Breast Reduction Surgery Change the Way You Breathe & Move?
The Clinical Exercise and Respiratory Physiology Laboratory (CERPL) and the Movement Technologies and Innovation (MOTION) Laboratory, in collaboration with , are seeking female volunteers for a research study investigating whether breast reduction surgery impacts breathing and biomechanics during exercise.
The study is looking for 16 healthy women who are planning to undergo breast reduction surgery and are able to walk, jog, and run on a treadmill.
Participants will be asked to attend four sessions (two before and two after surgery) at the Sir Arthur Currie Memorial Gymnasium, 475 Pine Ave W, Montreal, Quebec H2W 1S4, with each session lasting approximately 2 hours. Compensation will be provided for participation.
