Participation: Entrance is by audition (seeÌýaudition schedules). ÌýThis ensemble is open to music students, and º«¹úÂãÎè students from other faculties.
The º«¹úÂãÎè Chamber Jazz Ensemble is a ten-piece ensemble with a focus on contemporary jazz and student works.
Rehearsals are run in a workshop fashion, where creative new pieces by our students and faculty are explored and readied for performance.

The º«¹úÂãÎè Chamber Jazz Ensemble II is designed to provide instrumentalists and vocalists with a high-quality performance ensemble that emphasizes reading (as compared to combo, which is more improvisational). The ensemble is under the direction of jazz trumpeter, Bill Mahar.
