Tina Piper appointed Acting Dean
We are pleased to announce that Associate Dean (Academic) Tina Piper has been appointed Acting Dean for the Faculty of Law, following the appointment of Justice Robert Leckey to the Superior Court of Quebec. Her appointment, effective immediately, was announced by Provost and Executive Vice-President (Academic) Christopher Manfredi on 28 January 2025.  Â
Acting Dean Tina Piper will fulfill the duties of Dean during the Faculty of Law's leadership transition. In the coming weeks, an interim dean will be appointed to lead the Faculty while the formal selection process for a new dean is underway. Â
A law professor at º«¹úÂãÎè since 2005, Acting Dean Piper has been a key member of the Faculty's senior management team since 2022, serving as Associate Dean (Academic). She has demonstrated outstanding leadership and effectiveness in overseeing student services and the delivery of the Faculty’s renowned integrated BCL/JD program. We are grateful to Acting Dean Piper for her continued stellar service to º«¹úÂãÎè Law
