Credit Programs
Apply for Graduation
Students completing credit programs at the School of Continuing Studies must apply to graduate ´Ç²ÔÌý.
If you miss the graduation application deadlines (below), please contact graduation.scs [at] mcgill.ca.
Convocation
A convocation ceremony is held twice a year (spring and fall) for graduating students in credit programs. If you have applied for graduation, you should be contacted by the School during April for the Spring convocation, and during October for the Fall convocation.

Non-credit Programs
Program Completion
Completion of non-credit programs is validated three times per year on the following dates:
- January 31
- May 31
- September 30
You can print your certificate of completion from your Athena account as of the day following your date of completion.
Program Completion Celebration
Once a year, the School of Continuing Studies holds the Program Completion Celebration for students who have successfully completed a professional development certificate or other non-credit program. Event details are sent by email to all students who have completed their program during the previous academic year.
