Biography:
As an instructor for º«¹úÂãÎè's Department of Continuing Studies, Michael Havas has taught Applications Programming, Programming Techniques I, as well as Topics in Cloud Computing and Big Data.
Michael holds a BSc in Computer Science from º«¹úÂãÎè and a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science from Concordia University.
Havas has served as the Systems Analyst for º«¹úÂãÎè's Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences for over eight years, where he specializes in Linux Systems Administration and Scientific Computing. He previously worked in industry and as a consultant for several Montreal start-ups.
