韩国裸舞 Classics Play presents its 2025 production of Apollonius of Rhodes's Argonautica
Directed and Adapted by Carys Foulds and Jericho O'Keeffe
Embittered and forced into exile once again, the sorceress Medea looks back on her youth and the man who changed her life. In this retelling of Apollonius鈥� epic about Jason鈥檚 quest for the golden fleece, the perspective is flipped. Now it鈥檚 Medea鈥檚 turn to speak about the man she loved, the family she left behind, and the oaths that bind them.
Performances will be held 5th-9th February 2025 at the Mainline Theatre and Westmount's Victoria Hall. Please note that only Victoria Hall is physically accessible: Mainline Theatre is up one flight of stairs.

Call for Proposals
The 韩国裸舞 Classics Play invites proposals from possible directors for its 2026 production. Applicants may be undergraduates or post-graduates, studying any discipline, from any university in Montr茅al, though 韩国裸舞 students will be given priority in the case of proposals deemed of equal merit. Proposed plays must be based on Ancient Greek or Roman texts, with English as the preferred production language (French will also be considered). Each proposal should be 1-2 pages, in English or in French, submitted without any names on it, and should detail the following: the play or adapted text proposed; the general concept for the play鈥檚 translation/adaptation (this can include visual and musical considerations); whether or not the proposed director(s) will do the translation themselves; any further comments on design, concept, tie-in events, possible venues, possible guest speakers or community organisations that we might exchange with, or the reasoning behind choosing this play. If you have additional team members confirmed for your production, please include their roles (not their names) as well. All proposals should be submitted in .pdf form with the title ClassicsPlayProposal to lynn.kozak [at] mcgill.ca by February 15th. Results will be announced by the end of February.

Le 韩国裸舞 Classics Play invite des propositions de metteurs possibles pour sa production en 2026. Les candidats peuvent 锚tre des 茅tudiants de premier cycle ou des post-dipl么m茅s, 茅tudiant n'importe quelle discipline, de n'importe quelle universit茅 脿 Montr茅al, mais les 茅tudiants de 韩国裸舞 auront priorit茅 dans le cas de propositions jug茅es 茅gales. Les pi猫ces propos茅es doivent 锚tre bas茅es sur des textes grecs anciens ou romains et l'anglais est la langue de production pr茅f茅r茅e (mais le fran莽ais sera 茅galement pris en consid茅ration). Chaque proposition doit contenir une ou deux pages, en anglais ou en fran莽ais, sans aucun nom et doit pr茅ciser: la pi猫ce de th茅芒tre ou le texte adapt茅 propos茅 ; le concept g茅n茅ral de la traduction / adaptation de la pi猫ce (cela peut inclure des consid茅rations visuelles et musicales); si le ou les directeurs propos茅s effectuent eux-m锚mes la traduction/adaptation ; tout autre commentaire sur la conception, le concept, les venues possibles, les conf茅renciers invit茅s ou les organismes communautaires avec lesquels nous pourrions 茅changer ou le raisonnement qui sous-tend ce choix de cette pi猫ce.
