Congratulations to Muhe Yang, PhD in Information Studies student at the School of Information Studies (º«¹úÂãÎè), has received a Fonds de Recherche du Quebec; Nature et Technologies scholarship, for their research (French/English): Soutenir l'activité physique à un âge avancé : Co-conception de technologies de promotion de l'activité / Supporting Physical Activity in Later Life: Co-Design of Activity Promoting Technologies.
The FRQNT scholarship is awarded on basis of research and academic merit.

Dear Colleagues,
The overhead recovery fee currently being charged on actual revenues earned in non-1A unrestricted funds will remain at 7.5% in FY2025. This is unchanged from FY2024. The process for collecting and recording of this fee will continue to occur on a quarterly basis.
This year, the DataSphere Lab was privileged to welcome two exceptional students through the Integrated Management Student Fellowship (IMSF) program: Chloe You, a third year student studying Finance and Statistics, and Ruo-Ying, a Business Analytics major.
Two members of the Fall 2024 cohort of will begin their funded Master’s studies at º«¹úÂãÎè’s Faculty of Education. Designed to encourage purposeful leadership, the scholarships enable students to pursue a funded degree while participating in mentorship, coaching, and a leadership development program.

Recipients were chosen based on exceptional character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic strength, and intellectual curiosity.

This year, PhD student, Asia Vighi will be the graduate instructor for the undergraduate team competing at iGem. Vighi is a Vadasz scholar in the Faculty and also presented recently for at the Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering Design (TISED). She is taking over from Jean-Alexandre Bureau, who instructed the winning team last year. She likes working with undergraduates.
