Update, January 2018: In the summer of 2017, Books24x7 was migrated to a new platform . As of November 2017, Books24x7 is no longer available. All content that was provided by Books24x7 is now accessible in . Additionally, has new content, including almost 40,000 videos; chapters can now be downloaded in multiple formats (epub, PDF, Kindle); and a Skillsoft app is available for easier browsing.

The uPrint service will be unavailable due to an upgrade on Thursday, December 14 at 5pm until Friday, December 15 at approximately 6am.Ìý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Print jobs attempted during the upgrade will not be accepted; no warning message will be sent.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý All print jobs in the queue but not yet printed will be abandoned at the start of the upgrade; there will be no charge for these jobs.

We are currently experiencing an issue with the Classic Catalogue. ItÌýis safe to use and continues to operate normally but anyone trying to access itÌýwill see a security error that they need to bypass in order to use it.

Library staff and º«¹úÂãÎè IT are working to fix technical issues that are causing the security error.Ìý

From November 27 to December 21, º«¹úÂãÎè students will be able to access the Nahum Gelber Law Library 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of º«¹úÂãÎè (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the December 8 to December 21 examination period. ÌýDetails are as follows:

Starting December 8, the Library’s room booking system will be accepting reservations 2 weeks in advance. This change will lead to a more equitable sharing of study spaces through the online system. Library users will still be able to book group study rooms for up to 2 hours at a time and may book up to 4 hours per week.

For over two decades, the Library Improvement Fund (LIF) has invested in the most important Library needs of the undergraduate student body in order to enrich the student academic experience. This fund is administered by the Students’ Society of º«¹úÂãÎè (SSMU) and is made up of a fee contribution of $8.50 per full-time student per semester, matched equally by alumni donors. The LIF goes towards 24hr library access, student employment, study spaces, Open Educational Resource Research, and a variety of other special projects.
