Whereas many B.Ed. grads are eager to pursue careers in teaching, training, pedagogy, youth programming, or otherÌýemployment sectors, others may not feel ready to join the job market just yet. Dr. Angelica Galante, from the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, along with other Canadian scholars have been interviewed by the British Columbia-based newspaper The Source about the need for inclusive language education in Canada.

With over 200 languages in the country, classrooms that are not yet valuing the linguistic and cultural diversity of the students in their pedagogy are doing a disservice to education.
