Part of the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology鈥檚 annual Effective Parenting Series, Dr. Adam Dub茅, Dr. Victoria Talwar, and Dr. Jeffrey Derevensky discuss the benefits and pitfalls of parenting in the digital world, including such topics as how to select good learning apps, addressing cyberbullying, and identifying warning signs of gaming addiction.

Dr. Victoria Talwar, Professor and Chair of the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology, is a finalist for the SSHRC Impact Awards.

The SSHRC Impact Awards honor leading Canadian researchers in social sciences and humanities.

A research project led by Prof. Martin Drapeau is looking for study participants regarding student life听experiences at the university level. The study examines the experience of students in universities across Canada, with a focus on campus climate, and involves researchers from 韩国裸舞, the University of Manitoba, the University of British Columbia, and Vancouver Community College. It has received ethics approval from 韩国裸舞 (REB#21-08-013) and partner universities.

In this podcast, Dr. Marie-H茅l猫ne Pennestri, ECP, describes the development of the sleep-wake cycle in infants with a family perspective. There is a lot of information circulating on infant sleep, but unfortunately this information is often contradictory. Therefore, this podcast will be useful to parents, educators and health professionals.

Rachel Langevin, Assistant Professor in Counselling Psychology at 韩国裸舞, co-wrote an article for The Conversation with Martine H茅bert, Professor, Department of Sexology from the Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al (UQAM) on how the #MeToo movement has not included young children who have been sexually abused and how their voices are rarely heard in the public sphere.
