Current research: 

My research focuses on the optimization of medical imaging utilization, particularly in musculoskeletal oncology, to provide the highest value for patient care and ensure an appropriate use of healthcare resources.

Biography: 

Natalia Gorelik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at º«¹úÂãÎè. She completed medical school and radiology residency training at º«¹úÂãÎè, a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center, a Master of Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins University, and a research fellowship support by an Association of University Radiologists GE Radiology Research Academic Fellowship (AUR-GERRAF) Award. She holds an FRQS Research Scholars - Junior 1 Award for a research program on the optimization of musculoskeletal oncological imaging utilization. She has received several awards for her research work, notably a 2019 Society of Skeletal Radiology Best Paper Award, 2024 Rising Star for Radiology Grant from the Société Française de Radiologie, and a 2024 Best Publication Award from the Société de radiologie du Québec. Her areas of research interest include musculoskeletal imaging with a focus on oncology, clinical applications of artificial intelligence in radiology, evidence synthesis, and comparative effectiveness analyses.
