INLG : Focus on how traditional knowledges are organized, presented, and represented over time by Indigenous peoples in Canada, the U.S., and the Pacific. The discursive divisions between the generation, care, and perpetuation of knowledges in place, and colonial and imperial processes that effaced and transformed these knowledges through various methods. Pedagogies of orality, the mediation of Indigenous knowledges through textual and digital mediums. The politics of access, how knowledge is represented by libraries, archives and museums, and how institutions can partner more effectively with communities.
