º«¹úÂãÎè's professional program in Architecture is divided into two parts. The first part is an eight-term design-based program (six-term program for students entering with the Quebec Diploma of Collegial Studies in Pure and Applied Science or the equivalent) leading to a non-professional degree, Bachelor of Science (Architecture). Applicants whose background includes a university degree in an area not related to architecture should apply to the B.Sc.(Arch.) program. The second part, for students with the º«¹úÂãÎè B.Sc.(Arch.) degree or equivalent non-professional undergraduate architecture degree, is either a three-term or a two-year program leading to the Master of Architecture (Professional) degree. There are two options for the completion of the M.Arch. (Professional) program: Design Studio (45 credits) and Design Studio-Directed Research (60 credits). The M.Arch. (Professional) degree is accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB), and is recognized as accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) in the U.S.
