Overview

Interdisciplinary Studies : The following themes will be introduced: the physician as professional and healer, building the physician/patient alliance, the clinical method. Specific topics that will be covered include: observation skills, skillful listening, life cycle, content of the medical interview, issues in death and dying, and methodology for ethical decision-making.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2010-2011 academic year.

  • Restrictions: M.D.,C.M. and D.D.M. students only.
  • Students must also register for INDS 120J2 and INDS 120J3
  • No credit will be given for this course unless INDS 120J1, INDS 120J2 and INDS 120J3 are all successfully completed in consecutive terms
