Sociologie (Arts) : This seminar focuses on attempts to resolve social problems. There will be discussion and debate concerning policies suggested and critical examination of their potential successes and failures. The course presupposes knowledge of social problems issues obtained in 166-250. Topics include: crime and prisons; discrimination and inequality; poverty; and drug use.
