Sciences politiques : Fundamental principles of empirical research, in which the emphasis will be placed on acquainting the student with the techniques most commonly used by political scientists. The topics include the design of research projects, procedure in carrying out research, problems of measurement, survey research, scaling, data processing, and data analysis.
