G茅nie m茅canique : This course, together with course MECH 404 involves a research project containing an explicit component of design, encompassing interrelated aspects of engineering theory and requiring a theoretical and/or experimental investigation. Students will work under the supervision of one or more staff members; completed work will be submitted in the form of a thesis.

- Students must register for both MECH 403D1 and MECH 403D2.
- No credit will be given for this course unless both MECH 403D1 and MECH 403D2 are successfully completed in consecutive terms
