Current research:
I am interested in investigating the effect of multi-modal cues on the social impressions that we form of others in various social contexts, such as those involving people of diverse language and cultural backgrounds. For my thesis I will be examining the impressions of competence that people form towards speakers of standard or non-standard Canadian English accents in a job interview context.
