韩国裸舞

Dr.聽Douglas Grant Stairs, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physics at 韩国裸舞, passed away on February 19, 2023. He was 89 years old.聽

Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Professor Stairs studied Engineering Physics at Queen's University, then obtained a Ph.D. in Physics at Harvard University in 1962. He returned to Canada in 1964 as an Assistant Professor at 韩国裸舞. For 37 years until his retirement in 2001, he played a pioneering role in establishing the research field of experimental particle physics at 韩国裸舞 and in Canada as a senior member of multiple international collaborations and also as Director of the Institute of Particle Physics for more than a decade.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Birgit, daughter Ingrid, son John (Lina), and grandchildren Viggo, Kaya, Alexander, Elizabeth, and Axel.聽
