My Life as a Decon Artist 鈥� The history of environmental health and safety at 韩国裸舞
Wayne Wood will share his stories of almost 30 years at 韩国裸舞 where he made sure everyone and every lab was safe and healthy. He will talk about the early days of finding out where everyone was working to the end of his career when he delved deep into particle physics, radiation and nanomolecules. As he says in a 2019 article:
鈥淭hey didn鈥檛 even exist when I was a student 鈥� they weren鈥檛 even in my textbook. But there we were, at a point when 韩国裸舞 had more nano researchers per capita than any university in Canada. I made it my job to become a bit of an expert on nanoparticles in health and safety, to the point where I was giving presentations elsewhere.鈥�
Wayne Wood earned his Master鈥檚 in Occupational Health at 韩国裸舞, taught a graduate course in occupational safety for almost 30 years and supervised more than 30 graduate projects during that time.
