The HSF provides operating funds to support important, pertinent, novel research in the areas of heart disease and stroke.
Research is supported across the four health research themes:
- Basic biomedical
- Clinical
- Health services/systems
- Social, Cultural, Environmental and Population Health
Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming HSF Grants-in-Aid 2015/2016 Program (deadline Sept. 1st, 2015) are encouraged to attend this information session.

- BriefÌýpresentation about the objectives and requirements of the HSF Program presented by Rina Cohen, Grants Officer.
- Presentations for Best Practices for a sound grant application.
- Q & A Period. Participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the Program and its application process.ÌýThose who are unable to attend are invited to send their inquiries toÌýrina [dot] cohen [at] mcgill [dot] ca (Rina Cohen) in advance so that they may be included in the session.
