Title: Some approximation problems and identities related to zeta.
Abstract: There are many equivalent forms of the Riemann hypothesis. One
of them is the Nyman Beurling criterion, which is an approximation
problem in L2, involving the fractional part function and some dilation
parameters. Randomizing these ones generates new criteria, structures
and questions. The talk will be very accessible to graduate students.
Joint works with F. Alouges, E. Hillion and J. Najnudel.
