Same-sex marriage legalization associated with reduced anti-gay bias in the U.S.
A new study of evolving attitudes toward gay marriage across the U.S. suggests that state legislation has had a significant impact in reducing anti-gay bias in many parts of the country.
The findings, published in PNAS, provide evidence that public policy can shape social norms and alter individuals鈥 attitudes, says senior author Eric Hehman, a professor in 韩国裸舞鈥檚 Department of Psychology.

At a ceremony this evening, 韩国裸舞 announced that its Arts Building, a landmark at the centre of its downtown campus, will be named after alumnus John McCall MacBain and Dr. Marcy McCall MacBain, in recognition of the recent $200-million gift from the McCall MacBain Foundation.
The new name will be the McCall MacBain Arts Building.

Using laser light to study how epilepsy arises in the healthy brain
Scientists at 韩国裸舞 have developed a new method to study how seizures arise in the healthy brain. Using laser light guided through ultra-thin optic fibers in the brain of rodents, the researchers 鈥渢urned on鈥 light-sensitive proteins in selective brain cells and were able to eventually cause seizures through repeated laser stimulation. These findings were published March 27, 2019 in the journal Scientific Reports.
