Biography: 

Dr. Benoit Goulet, a neurosurgeon with expertise in spinal surgery,Ìýjoined the Montreal Neurological Institute in 2001 and is an Assistant Professor in º«¹úÂãÎè’s Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is also currently theÌýDirector of the Spine and Peripheral Nerve Program at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital.

Dr. Goulet received his Medical Degree (1989), conducted his general surgery training (1991) and his neurosurgery residency (1995) at the University of Laval. He has held fellowships in general neurosurgery and spinal surgery in Massachusetts and Toronto, respectively. Dr. Goulet passed the American Board of Neurological Surgeons exam (ABNS) in 2006.Ìý

Dr. Goulet is frequently invited as a lecturer and instructor at international symposiums. He is involved as an investigator for numerous clinical trials for CIHR, Bayer, Novartis, and Cerapedics.Ìý
