Biography: 

Established in 2003 by friends and former students as the Lubka Kolessa Piano Scholarship, and transformed into a scholarship in 2014 with a generous lead donation by pianists and º«¹úÂãÎè music graduates Luba Zuk and Ireneus Zuk in honour of their mentor, Lubka Kolessa, renowned international concert pianist of Ukrainian origin and º«¹úÂãÎè Faculty of Music professor from 1960-1971. Awarded by the Schulich School of Music Scholarships Committee to an outstanding undergraduate piano student entering his/her senior year of study.
