Biography:
Established by Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schloss in memory of their brother, the composer Julius Schloss (1902-1972), one of the foremost pupils of Alban Berg in Vienna during the late 1920s and early 1930s whose collected works were donated by the family to the º«¹úÂãÎè Faculty of Music. This award is to be made to a graduate student in Music on the recommendation of the Graduate Committee of the Schulich School of Music.
