Geometry Working Group Seminar
Topic: Serre's G茅om茅trie alg茅brique et g茅om茅trie analytique
Date: Monday 4-5pm, weekly

Abstract: Throughout the term we will break down the proof of Serre's GAGA theorems, which relates coherent algebraic sheaves on complex varieties to coherent analytic sheaves on a corresponding complex manifold. We will also study major consequences of the theory such as Chow's Theorem, Grothendieck's algebraic de Rham theorem and others.
