´¡²ú²õ³Ù°ù²¹³¦³Ù:ÌýI will talk about work in progress with Alan McLeay investigating the following apparently innocent question: Given twoÌýsurfaces, when does there admit a finite-sheeted cover of one over the other? A complete answer is available if the twoÌýsurfacesÌýare of finite type. In the infinite-type world, the question appears to be less innocent than one might expect.
