Unwinding the amplituhedron
Nima Arkani-Hamed and Jaroslav Trnka recently defined an object, which they dubbed the amplituhedron, that encodes the scattering amplitudes for N=4 super Yang-Mills. In joint work with them (arXiv:1704.05069), we arrived at a simpler definition of the amplituhedron, which I will present. One of the features of this definition is that the expected factorization when approaching boundaries is explicitly visible. I will focus on this aspect. Â
