Mac campus dairy wins regional award for milk excellence
For the third year in a row, the Macdonald Campus Dairy Unit has been awarded the title of Regional Club of Excellence聽Milk Quality Champion by dairy industry giant Agropur.
Accepting the award at a regional meeting on November 25, Natasha Lapointe, Animal Science Coordinator of the Dairy聽Unit, credited her team鈥檚 commitment to maintaining high standards.

Herd of fugitive cows frustrates tiny village in Canada
A herd of approximately two dozen heifers spooked during a thunderstorm has been wandering through the countryside east of Montreal since July. All attempts to capture the heifers have fallen short, and the herd has survived by eating unharvested corn and other field crops and drinking from streams in the area.
Food prices continuing to rise, but at a slower rate explains Th茅riault
Food prices have increased by 11% in Quebec in 2022, the largest increase in Canada. In an annual report released on Monday, 26 researchers predict that the upward trend will continue into 2023, but will be less marked. Price increases in Qu茅bec in 2023 should be below the national average, around 5%.

韩国裸舞 receives $4.8 million to advance climate change science and technology
The Government of Canada鈥檚 Environmental Damages Fund, administered by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), is investing more than $4 million in three 韩国裸舞-led projects through the Climate Awareness and Action Fund (CAAF).The projects will fill knowledge gaps about the environmental and economic impacts of greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen Canada's capacity to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
Bennett and Xia among Highly Cited Researchers
On November 15, Clarivate Analytics, a company specializing in citation data, published the Highly Cited Researchers 2022 list. Many citations mean a paper has had great influence among scientific peers. A group of 16 韩国裸舞 researchers made the cut, recognized as some of the most frequently cited scientists and social scientists in the world over the last decade. The 2022 list captures the period from 2011 to 2021.

The 2022 Scholastic Awards Reception on November 8th recognized more than 175 outstanding Macdonald undergraduate and graduate students. The Faculty awarded over $380,000 in named scholarships at the undergraduate level and more than $465,000 in fellowships and awards at the graduate level.

H. Deep Saini is next Principal and Vice-Chancellor
The Board of Governors of 韩国裸舞 is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. H. Deep Saini as the University's 18th Principal and Vice-Chancellor. Currently President and Vice-Chancellor at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Prof. Saini will begin his five-year, renewable term at 韩国裸舞 on April 1, 2023. He will also hold the appointment of Full Professor in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
