A New Assistant Director Joins the Leadership Team of the Crépeau Centre

On December 2024, Valérine Pinel joined the Centre Crépeau’s leadership team as assistant director. Since February 2024, Valérine has been with the Centre as a Researcher-Project Coordinator, delivering exceptional work across various projects. Notably, her contribution as the project coordinator for the Private Law Dictionary and Bilingual Lexicons, characterized by her meticulous approach and high research standards, has been instrumental in enriching this key project, which lies at the heart of the Crépeau Centre.

Valérine brings a unique warmth to the Centre’s work environment, and we are fortunate to have her now as part of the leadership team. In this new role, Valérine joins assistant director Mariana Romanello Jacob and directors Mark Antaki and Michelle Cumyn.

Trained in civil law in France, Valérine holds a bachelor’s degree in private law and a master’s degree in criminal law from Toulouse Capitole University. To learn more about her remarkable professional journey, click here.
