Launch of Women's Charters & Declarations

Join the Women of Colour student Collective and : The º«¹úÂãÎè Journal of International Law & Legal Pluralism for the launch of , an online database of women's legal and political advocacy tools used to advance equal rights and women's political participation. These charters are from around the world and deal with a variety of issues, from political participation to social issues to sports. The six members on the advisory board of this project include º«¹úÂãÎè Law’s Professor Vrinda Narain, as well as two UN Special Rapporteurs, anthropology professors, and activists.

We will be holding a roundtable discussion, open to the public, with feminist scholars, activists, and students, on the importance of a material archive of women's advocacy tools and how these documents can be used to mobilise new generations of feminists to learn and adapt these tools to their local contexts.Ìý
