About Dr. Tissera
Hiromi Tissera, MD, is a family physician and educator committed to patient care and medical education. Since obtaining her Certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) in 2019, she has distinguished herself in clinical practice and as a teacher to students and residents. Dr. Tissera is the undergraduate family medicine site director, supporting medical education at the District Medical Clinic. She is also the Competency Committe Chair for the Family Medicine Residency program at the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex supporting residents in clinical and classroom learning.
