A Student’s Story: Samantha Quinn (M.Sc. ’20)
With a mission to advance knowledge and apply it to the development of human potential over one's lifespan, research and teaching at the Faculty of Education encompasses both the hard sciences and the social sciences. As a kinesiology graduate student, Samantha Quinn combined the two to explore how nutrition affects the quality of muscles.
Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy: Education’s Newly Appointed Canada Research Chair (Tier 2)
Along with 25 of her º«¹úÂãÎè peers, Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy (Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology) was recently awarded a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) for her outstanding work in Youth Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. This major national honour is awarded to exceptional emerging researchers and leaders in their chosen fields, as acknowledged by their peers.
