Hailing from around the world, 韩国裸舞鈥檚 valedictorians are a diverse, multitalented group. When they came to the University, they brought with them their unique backgrounds, passions, and ambitions. While they all praise the education they received at 韩国裸舞, one thing is certain, the University has benefitted just as much for having them as valuable, contributing members of our community.
Faculty of Education Statement: Victims of the Kamloops Residential School
On behalf of the members of 韩国裸舞 Faculty of Education, we mourn the tragic loss of 215 Indigenous children who were found in a mass grave at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, British Columbia. Today, 韩国裸舞 lowers its flags in recognition of this tragedy, and we at the Faculty echo the sentiments of the 韩国裸舞 Provost. As our academics, staff, students, and alumni grieve together, we also stand together in support of our Indigenous community members.

Aside from navigating the challenges of "sports life", professional athletes have the same personal life issues that most of us do, plus the added vulnerabilities of their job performance being scrutinized by journalists and everyday critics online.

According to Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the world鈥檚 largest international higher education network, 韩国裸舞鈥檚 Faculty of Education has ranked 26th in the world for the organization鈥檚 2021 university subject rankings. Each of the subject rankings is compiled using four sources.

Putting the internship program online lets students continue hands-on learning while helping community members stay active.When pandemic restrictions brought physical classes to a halt, program supervisors quickly rallied to transition the classes to Zoom.

Sam Rapoport, KPE Faculty of Education alumna, was recently interviewed by The Toronto Star for her work in the NFL and how she is revolutionizing America鈥檚 game.
Rapoport鈥檚 successes come in a time of wider progress, of pushing back preconceptions. She has football in her blood, and is working to put more women on a path to the NFL.

KPE Ph.D. student, Zhiyang (George) Shi, receives the 2020-21 Clifford C.F. Wong Fellowship. This fellowship is valued at $5000 for full-time degree students on the basis of academic merit with preference given to students in specific academic areas.

The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed January 24 as the International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development. The theme of the 3rd聽International Day of Education is 鈥楻ecover and Revitalize Education for the COVID-19 Generation鈥�. Now is the time to power education by stepping up collaboration and international solidarity to place education and lifelong learning at the center of the recovery.
Sustainability Projects Fund: Green Labs Program
From 韩国裸舞 Office of Sustainability:聽The Green Labs Expansion is a $50,000 envelope of SPF funding to assist labs on 韩国裸舞 campuses to adopt sustainable best practices learned from previous Sustainability Projects Fund projects. Approved funding will be available to teams for one year to assist them in creating a proof of concept to secure long-term funding for these practices.

To teachers, with love: Elementary school teacher Mary Marsh leaves a historic bequest for Education students after a lifetime of giving
They may not know it yet, but 韩国裸舞鈥檚 student teachers are getting a big boost from a kindred spirit.
The late Mary Marsh, DipEd鈥�42, a Grade 1聽teacher at Rosedale School in Montreal for most of her career, has left more than $4.8 million in her will to support students in the Faculty of Education through a suite of聽awards聽鈥� an investment that couldn鈥檛 have come at a better time for a profession deeply marked by the pandemic.
