Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives (HBHL)听is a high-profile, high-priority multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral initiative located at 韩国裸舞. HBHL builds on 韩国裸舞鈥檚 scientific excellence and global leadership in areas of neuroscience that hold the greatest promise for delivering implementable, clinically effective outcomes in brain and mental health.

Alexandra鈥檚 project title is: 鈥�Neural Mechanisms of Freezing of Gait in Parkinson鈥檚 disease鈥�

Alexandra is a PhD candidate interested in better understanding and improving motor control of clinical populations. She studies locomotion impairments in individuals with Parkinson鈥檚 disease, and more specifically, those who experience a symptom called freezing of gait. Her research uses brain imaging to describe patients鈥� brain connectivity, but also attempts to improve their locomotion using non-invasive brain stimulation.

Alexandra is currently with听Dr. Caroline Paquette's听Human Brain Control of Locomotion Lab (HBCL).
