Professor Phelps named as new Dean at University of Oklahoma’s business school
The University of Oklahoma has named º«¹úÂãÎè Desautels Professor Corey Phelps as the new Dean of the Price College of Business.
Phelps joined the Desautels Faculty of Management as Associate Professor of Strategy and Organization in 2014, and has taught in the MBA, º«¹úÂãÎè-HEC Montreal EMBA, IMPM, IMHL, and PhD programs, as well as the customized and open enrollment programs offered by the º«¹úÂãÎè Executive Institute.
In 2016, Professor Phelps was promoted to Associate Dean of Executive Education, overseeing all executive degree programs and the º«¹úÂãÎè Executive Institute.
During his time at º«¹úÂãÎè Desautels, he has made a significant impact in overseeing academic strategy, creating and marketing new programs, advancing academic research and experiential learning, and by leveraging his relationships with stakeholders to launching a number of collaborative initiatives by stewarding relationships with stakeholders.
Professor Phelps’s last day at º«¹úÂãÎè is June 30, 2020. He will step into his new role as Dean of the Price College of Business at Oklahoma University on July 1, 2020.
