NEW BOSS FLYING INTO TURBULENCE

Calin Rovinescu, the 52-year-old lawyer turned airline executive and then merger maker, took over Air Canada's cockpit today as the company faces a cash crunch, steeply declining travel demand, strong competition from WestJet Airlines and tough labour negotiations. Karl Moore, senior professor at º«¹úÂãÎè's Desautels School of Management, said Rovinescu was chosen because he brings the right qualities and experience to Air Canada's table.
