Desautels Students' Concept of Solving Urban Hunger with Diet of Crickets Scores Big Points in Social Entrepreneurship Contest

...This year's social issue, personally selected by former President Clinton, is centered on the global food crisis in urban slums, affecting more than one billion people worldwide. Mohammed Ashour, º«¹úÂãÎè's team captain, said his idea was base solely on the concept of insect consumption.
Jesse Pearlstein, a member of the º«¹úÂãÎè team and responsible for the team's financial planning, said their social enterprise also includes a plan to create a local ecosystem of entrepreneurs.Â
