The 2017 edition of Poets and Quants鈥� Best 40 Under 40 Professors list is out, and on it are four teachers at Canadian institutions 鈥� including Desautels Assistant Professor Sebastien Betermier. Professor Betermier teaches investment management and has been nominated for the Desautels Distinguished Teaching Award four times.

The Best 40 list is a survey in which professors are nominated by alumni and current students. To get on the list, a nominated professor is evaluated on their teaching and publishing. Poets and Quants says in part that Betermier 鈥渋s establishing himself as a rising thought leader.鈥�
