BCom Students Win Bronze at the Business Strategy Challenge (BSC 2010) at Georgetown University

Desautels BCom candidates put theirÌýcase analysis and presentationÌýskills to the test once againÌýat theÌý6th annual Business Strategy Challenge (BSC) at Georgetown University in Washington, DC which tookÌýplace fromÌýFebruary 24 to 27. ÌýAfter aÌýpreliminary morning round and a final round in the afternoon, the Desautels team placed 3rd overall out of a total of 15 competing universities.

The Desautels team consisted of BCom candidates Jamie Edelsberg, Khaled Kteily, Antoine Ngo and Diana Pirri.ÌýÌýAllÌýhad taken Professor Richard Donovan'sÌý"Case Analysis and Presentation" class. ÌýProf. Donovan also acted as their adviser and accompanied the team toÌýWashington.Ìý A special thanks also goes out to Professors Angela Burlton, Suzanne Gagnon and Vadim di Pietro who also attended practice sessions and provided valuable feedback to the team.

Congratulations to Jamie, Khaled, Antoine and Diana for an excellent performance!

The Business Strategy Challenge was created to further the mission of Hilltop Consultants, and of Georgetown University, to foster the growth of future business leaders who will serve our community. To that end, BSC only invites non-profit organizations to be competition clients. This year’s year case client was LifeTuner.org – an initiative launched by the AARP.
