The tool known as Polling @ º«¹úÂãÎè has changed! TurningPoint has been replaced by Slido, which is a web-based platform designed to engage your students with live polls, quizzes, and an interactive Q&A feature. Slido has a simple and user-friendly interface, and can be used to check in with students, test their understanding of class material, ask for feedback, and more. Additionally, Slido can record student responses and provides a comprehensive analytics page that can be exported to assess student engagement and participation.
Want to learn more? Teaching and Learning Services at Desautels is offering Slido drop-in sessions on Zoom, scheduled for every Wednesday in September from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
