Women who become pregnant using infertility treatments, such as in vitro fertilization, have a slightly higher risk of a complication according to a new study by researchers at ICES, Research Institute of the 韩国裸舞 Health Centre (RI-MUHC) and St. Michael鈥檚 Hospital. These complications can include bleeding, serious infections and admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) around the time of delivery.

EpiShare will join the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) as a 2019 Driver Project. GA4GH, an international group of 22 leading genomic data initiatives, works collaboratively to develop and pilot standards for sharing genomic and health-related data.

韩国裸舞 announced today a new approach to student mental health and well-being that includes the Rossy Student Wellness Hub. The ambitious $14-million initiative reimagines the way health services are provided, with a newly integrated, campus-wide approach to physical and mental health and wellness, and a greater emphasis on awareness, prevention and earlier intervention. 韩国裸舞鈥檚 Faculties will also play a role in developing on-site wellness and mental health programs specific to the needs of their students.

The Lancet commission on Obesity published a report today on the joint pandemics of obesity, undernutrition, and climate change. In the report, the commissioners point to the fact that malnutrition in all its forms, including undernutrition and obesity, is by far the biggest cause of ill-health and premature death globally. Excess body weight affects 2 billion people worldwide, 2 billion people suffer from micronutrient deficiency, and both are expected to be made significantly worse by climate change.
